    I used half the olive oil and it was just fine. Leftovers were indeed as delicious as he indicates.

    When you push broccoli beyond that disappointing just-too-done state (...with garlic, anchovy, and hot peppers) you find yourself with a miraculous substance -- essentially broccoli confit.
