Baja fish tacos from Delicious: Quick, Smart Cook: Delicious Food Without the Fuss by Valli Little

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I have been making this recipe for many years and it is always delicious, especially with the Pico de Gallo, one of the best recipes I've eaten. P.S.: This time I cheated with the fish tacos and used hot smoked salmon instead of the fresh fish fillet coated with flour and spices. I usually do that when I'm in a hurry to make dinner. Also, we still had leftovers from a super green salad and used that instead of lettuce by itself. What really makes this recipe delicious is the pico de gallo, a mixture of tomato, onion, green chillies, coriander, lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and cumin... just fantastic.

A really good recipe, but not quite in ‘wow’ territory. The spices didn’t convey much flavour to the fish, but visually loved the yellow crumb that resulted from the very small amount of turmeric in the seasoned flour.
