Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    I think we'd have been better off having the really nice sauce over the pasta and skipping the egg / baking bit. My gluten free pasta absorbed all of the egg and became very overcooked so there was no egg to 'set'.

    Wow, this was SO GOOD. I wasn't sure, it seemed almost too simple but the final result was just amazing -satisfying but not too greasy or heavy. I did add some oregano to the tomato sauce as I was making it, and used ground venison instead of ground beef. Husband loved it and this is going on my winter entertaining menu for sure for the future.
