Mrs Post's lemon drizzle cake from How to Bake by Paul Hollywood

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Agree with other reviews - underwhelmed. Cake crumb was quite crumbly. I ended up spreading with leftover lemon curd to eat. There are better lemon recipes out there, I wouldn't waste ingredients to make this again.

My first recipe from the book and I must confess I'm a bit disappointed. Loaf completely sunk in the middle and not overly lemony either. I think maybe my tablespoon of lemon curd may have been over generous, otherwise everything weighed and followed to the letter so should have worked. Very strange.

Not lemony enough. Without the drizzle, the lemon would be undetectable... just a spoonful of lemon curd in the batter. I decided to try this for a change, but I'll be going back to my usual recipe: http://www.larecettedujour.org/2010/03/luscious-lemon-drizzle-cake.php
