Ah, so excited! I just picked up three new ones at Half Price Books today:
The Greens Cookbook by Deborah Madison and Edward Espe Brown - So excited to read through this one. I've heard it's a challenging cookbook but with worthwhile results. A few years ago I found a recipe for the roasted eggplant noodles on Orangette's blog and it's one of my favorite summer meals. Any other life changing recipes in here I should know about?
Classic Indian Cooking by Julie Sahni - I've cooked from Madhur Jaffrey but this is my first Julie Sahni book, and I've heard that this book is really excellent. I know that 143 of you out there own the book also, so if anyone out there has made anything especailly delicious to recommend to me, I'd love to hear your two cents!
Chocolate and the Art of Low Fat Desserts by Alice Medrich - I first heard about this book when I was about 17 and everyone in the blogosphere was marveling at the incredible results from this now out-of-print book...and now it's mine! Ahem, can't wait for this one to be indexed, cough cough, wink wink.
