How to suggest / add a blog to the Library?   Go to last post Go to last unread

I tried searching for this info or mention of a submission process, but couldn't find it.  How do we get food blog sites added to the blog section of the Library (whether or not the recipes from the blog also get indexed eventually)?  One example I came across recently is foodtasia.com.   Do they need to get vetted first, and if so, how do we request that?

Thanks!

You add any request to the Blog Requests topic on the Forum. Though I would warn you we are focusing our indexing resources on cookbooks and food magazines. We do add new blogs/websites occasionally, such as recent additions Nigella.com, Half Baked Harvest and Green Kitchen Stories. But our focus for new sites we index will be those from cookbook authors.

Thank you for the response, Jane!  That's fully understandable that indexing resources need to be carefully prioritized.

Another question I have is whether EYB has considered adding an optional ability to make personal recipes public, perhaps after self-indexing them?  I would think that many of us would love to be able to view personal recipes that others wish to share.

Thanks again!

I'm not sure how useful personal recipes would be without the quantities or method. You can add any recipe to the Library that is available online to the Library using the Bookmarklet - explained here in Help.
