      Baked this in a 1/2 size, 8 x 8 pan. Used 1 tsp. vanilla extract instead of vanilla sugar. Baking time was good at 35 minutes, and could possibly have used a little longer, but the top needs to be watched. Be sure to line the entire pan with parchment. These really like to stick. Cool completely before cutting. Leave on the parchment to cool.

      Love that this recipe doesn’t require heating the sugar! Came out perfect. (If you make the mousse ahead of time, make sure to give it a good few hours to come to room temp before trying to pipe it!)
