    Mushroom toasts with greens and pear salad (pg 78). This is a recipe that the previous owner of the book clearly enjoyed, a good clue that a recipe is worth trying. This creates a very satisfying snack or luncheon dish. I especially enjoyed the bleu cheese in the salad. The flavor lingers in your mouth in a pleasant way while you get a bite of the mushroom toast.
