      Quick, easy, economical midweek dinner. Didn't make the cheesy croutons but grated some parmesan for people to add themselves. Liked the taste of it all, and probably will make again.

  • Spiced almonds

      Absolutely yum, the sweetness from the sugar and the little bit of heat from the chillies work wonderfully together. Great guest-nibbles. Have also tried with walnuts, which didn't taste so good. Best to stick to almonds...

      So good! I like it hotter so I usually double the amount of chilli and leave the seeds in. Really adaptable too - I've used soy instead of fish sauce to make it vegetarian, used plums instead of tomatoes and used habaneros instead of normal red chillies.
