Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Chocolate coconut bread

    • joanhuguet on March 02, 2016

Overbaked even though I pulled it out 10 minutes before the minimum time given. Nice coconut flavor, but dense.

  • Noho kai chocolate banana bread

    • BatCityGirl on January 25, 2026

This was an easy and great recipe. I like the addition of the choc chips. My 9 year old picky eater and their friend also loved it. At 60 minutes and it was still a little soft and fell apart easily. Next time will bake another 5 minutes. Would rate 4.5 but could not do that.

These cookies are lovely. Not too sweet with good chocolate flavor coming from cocoa powder and the irresistible nuttiness of pistachios...the rye...adds another subtle layer of flavor.
