Notes about this book

I've made multiple burgers out of this recipe books and they've all been FANTASTIC. While it's a cute novelty item, it's also a real deal cookbook.

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Eggers can't be cheesers burger

    • dmdmdmmm on January 16, 2026

Any burger with egg is great for me! So easy to put together, like a gooood breakfast sandwich

  • Bruschetta bout it burger

    • Bessp on November 09, 2023

Quick and tasty. Added shallots to the bruschetta and a balsamic glaze to the finished patty.

    • austin_6rikx3 on April 20, 2026

One of the easiest burgers to make. I recommend making the bruschetta ahead of time so it has time to develop flavor. The fresh tomatoes and the French bread are perfect for this burger

  • Chèvre which way but loose burger

    • Bessp on July 09, 2024

The grocery store had an herbed chevre that had the called for herbs in it already, so I got that and the added the amount in the recipe for double herbs. This was a very nice burger. The cheese mix was sharp and refreshing and contrasted well with the buttery toasted bun and rich meaty patty. Could maybe use a little acid, next time I'll probably try quick pickling the cucumbers.

  • Sound and the curry burger

    • Logan92995 on April 07, 2023

This was fine, probably wouldn't make again at least in this iteration. While the curry made for this recipe was really tasty, it's not exactly a conducive sauce to top a burger with -- it's too runny and you can't really 'top' a burger with it as it just drains down the sides and makes the bottom bun wet. It would have been better if the burger had been infused with the curry spices or marinated in it instead. That could have been a real winner.

  • We're here, we're Gruyère, get used to it burger

    • jaxcap on August 13, 2023

Pretty good, I'd use a little less onion soup mix (a bit too salty). Also, the first time I made these I tried it dipping the buns in the au jus only for like a second, and the buns were soggy even after toasting. I recommend brushing it on instead, it worked a lot better that way.

    • austin_6rikx3 on March 08, 2026

This burger was so good! I saw a comment about the buns being soggy after dipping in the au jus, so after dipping and toasting for a few minutes, I stuck it under the broiler to crisp it up more! We will definitely be making this burger again, it was so tasty!

  • I heartichoke you burger

    • Bessp on July 09, 2025

This was a very tasty burger. I mixed some of the parmesan cheese into the patties for a bit of cheesiness in the beef. I used tinned artichoke bottoms in brine instead of quartered hearts, because I saw them at the store and was intrigued. I don't think it made a huge difference. This was a great weeknight meal, it came together quickly with few ingredients.

  • Foot feta-ish burger/Never been feta burger

    • grace_0z2loi on January 25, 2026

I used French onion focaccia instead of ciabatta rolls and the arugula salad kit from TJs

  • Don't get crème fraîche with me burger

    • austin_6rikx3 on January 30, 2026

A perfectly balanced burger! You could taste the blueberry in there without it overpowering the burger. We couldn’t find Vienna rolls but a Kaiser roll is a good alternative

  • Home for the challah-days burger

    • Bessp on January 17, 2026

This one we probably won't make again. For the novelty factor, it was good, but definitely not our favorite. The instructions for making the latkes were especially bad. You should always salt the potato mixture, let it rest for a few minutes, then squeeze out as much moisture as you can, otherwise they'll be way too wet and they'll never fry. Also, an inch of oil is way too much, even a properly squeezed mixture will explode into individual potato shreds if it doesn't have the surface of the pan to rest on while it cooks. The final result was good, but if I make it again I'll just do the latkes my own way. I also didn't put the applesauce into the beef, I had already lost trust in the instructions for this one.

  • Winter Muensterland burger

    • eroachTN on November 22, 2022

Excellent! The sauce makes a lot so you could easily make more burgers without having to make additional sauce.

  • Baby you can chive my car

    • holly_6rdxil on May 25, 2026

This wasn’t my favorite but my husband LOVED it. The feta worked perfectly and as someone who doesn’t like pickles… the fried pickles were pretty good.

  • Bleu is the warmest cheese burger

    • Logan92995 on January 03, 2023

I liked it! Though as admittedly not the biggest fan of bleu cheese, the sauce was a bit overwhelming for me. I wouldn't mind trying it again with perhaps some feta, instead.
