      Very sweet; I would either leave out the simple syrup or reduce the pomegranate juice. Maybe even both!

  • Mushroom-stuffed pork roulade

      I didn't particularly care for the spice blend in this. Also, the instructions were a little lacking in that when making a roulade only 2/3rds of the length should be covered in stuffing, as otherwise the first fold will have double the amount of filling to deal with. It does cook up beautifully.
