This was a total failure, although I am not surprised. Usually I am quick to blame myself when something goes wrong in the kitchen but the recipes in this book are written with little information to guide the user. The recipe specifies 5-6 eggs. I know eggs are different sizes, so it is hard to say how many are needed, but give me weights or tell me what I should be looking for. I had to go online and look at videos to gauge the consistency I should be aiming for. Other recipes in this book say to bake cakes in loaf pans but don’t specify the size. My loaf pans vary wildly and other recipes insist that the pan used affects the outcome. I don’t recommend this book.
