      Made the chili in the pressure cooker and added some cocoa powder to add some depth. Delicious, but very heavy and felt a bit sick after.

  • Chicken shawarma kebabs

      I used thigh fillets instead of breasts, cooked both the chicken and the onions and peppers on a charcoal barbecue, and served with homemade hummus and a drizzle of pomegranate molasses instead of the yoghurt sauce. Really nice - but really needed the extra fat from the thighs. I think breast could be quite dry.

      Quick and easy- added some bread crumbs to the top.

      Dressing wasn't flavourful and salad was very light. Had it with some grains to bulk it out. Felt like it was missing something (texture/flavour).
