      Almost like I remember them.. had I also made the pastry (rather than use up a rubbish shop bought frozen shortcrust) they probably would have much better! I made half the filling and got 8 decent sized pasties (110g filling in each).

      If you’re a cookie dough fan, this is the chocolate biscuit for you. A chewy exterior & soft gooey centre. Pushing the cooking time further will result in scorched biscuits. This recipe can be also found in “The Tivoli Road Baker”.
