      Delicious. I used veal instead of pork as it's what I could get, and dry white wine instead of sherry. This went down really well with the family.

      I've made a few similar recipes over the years, and I think overall cold roast beef + salad together is not going to be one of my favourite combos. This was perfectly nice but not exciting enough to make again.

      These were really delicious! The method for the potatoes was perfect, and the gremolata topping was great. Would make again.

  • Spiced honey fondant parsnips & carrots

      I liked the flavours on this dish, but in the time it took for the stock to reduce and turn into a glaze, my carrots and parsnips had got a little bit overcooked and mushy. I think that ultimately I prefer crunchy roast parsnips, though maybe I'd repeat this method for carrots.

      Quite a quick and easy recipe, and very filling. Both of us liked: would make again. Would probably be easier to eat if chicken was taken off the bone and shredded before serving.
