Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Spicy mango pork with noodles

    • Kduncan on August 06, 2020

Easy recipe, you need to cut the pork thinner than the 1/2 in they say as it doesn't get the correct amount of brown vs. the picture if it is 1/2 an inch thick. Love all the ingredients but together this didn't sing for me.

We really liked it. Served it with tortillas and lettuce, grilled cherry tomato and summer squash plus pickles. Excellent

    • khopkins1012 on July 27, 2024

We ate all of this and it was fine. Will not repeat it again.

  • Banana-rum old-fashioned

    • twoyolks on June 11, 2020

I'm not entirely sure how this is an Old Fashioned given it has more ingredients by volume that aren't from an Old Fashioned but the flavor is really well balanced and the banana compliments the bourbon quite well. I didn't have 100 proof bourbon so I just used a regular bourbon which worked fine.
