Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Bacon and cheddar scones

    • lkgrover on January 14, 2024

Excellent savory scones. I used 6 oz bacon, which I crumbled (1/4 in. pieces) by hand after cooking. I had enough extra dough for 2-3 more scones.

  • Oatmeal raisin cookies

    • cookingbychapter on February 12, 2026

Used chocolate chips and these turned out fantastic!! Made 22 medium sized cookies.

  • Peach shortbread crumble

    • lkgrover on July 27, 2022

Excellent peach crumble (like a peach pie without a bottom crust). The brown sugar & cinnamon add a flavorful twist. I used butter instead of vegan margarine. Served with vanilla ice cream.
