      I only made the carrots and boy were they great! I’m always happy to try new roasted carrot recipes, especially an Ottolenghi one. The dressing is a standout, sweet sultanas, tangy vinegar and Smokey maple syrup then you hit it with brown butter and crunchy almonds. I subbed dill for the carrot tops because that’s what I had on hand, I’d do it again because I’m not a fan of carrot tops.

      These are quite the most divine cuke pickles - they are from Cornersmith, so it is not surprising. It has been 1 day only and already they taste great. 2 more days to go....

      I thought this was delicious, all of the flavours worked well together and I was so excited to use my homegrown basil. Sadly the Silver Fox isn’t a fan so it’s unlikely to be repeated unless I make it just for me
