Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Cozy mocha latte

    • radishseed on January 13, 2024

I found the flavorings in this to be a bit strong as written; half quantities of everything except the milk and coffee was about right for me.

  • Butterscotch-sea salt milkshake smoothie

    • Jviney on January 07, 2024

We really enjoyed this. More peanut butter and banana flavors than butterscotch, but creamy and very good.

  • Chocolate chip-tahini smoothie

    • Jviney on April 29, 2023

I am not a smoothie person but after a dental procedure I’m required to subsist on them for awhile and this one is my favorite. Absolutely delicious, I wouldn’t change a thing.

  • Gluten-free peanut butter & jelly muffins

    • Jviney on January 20, 2024

These were good and pretty easy to throw together. I used sugar-free jam, which didn't really swirl but that was fine. They're a little dense as is expected of gluten-free breads but I think it's a great gluten-free, non-refined-sugar breakfast. Alongside some bacon, this breakfast kept me full for a long time.

  • Hearty chickpea-orzo-spinach stew

    • Jviney on September 18, 2025

Simple and relatively quick. I added some shredded chicken. Nice hearty, flavorful meal.

  • Perfectly juicy turkey burgers

    • skvalentine on March 26, 2023

These were SO GOOD. I doubled the recipe and they came out a bit too salty, so next time I would use either less salt or less tamari. But still, so delicious.

    • Jviney on January 08, 2025

These were really good, rave reviews from the family. I cut back the salt by 1/4 tsp based on skvalentine’s review, and used tamari instead of soy sauce, and they were great.

  • Life changing tahini-chocolate chip cookies

    • skvalentine on March 19, 2023

These are THE BEST. Delicious and satisfying!

    • Jviney on January 25, 2024

Absolutely delicious. I used almond flour and tahini but I’m intrigued by the suggestion that coconut flour could be used as well. It’s a yummy chocolate chip cookie with the bonus of being gluten-free and refined sugar-free (depending on your chocolate chips).

  • Double-fudge tahini cookie skillet

    • Jviney on April 23, 2025

This was yummy. Made it in an 8” skillet and it was on the verge of overdone at 15 minutes - would pull at 14 next time. And I’d probably add another Tbsp of tahini for a recognizable flavor.

  • Classic crackly top brownies

    • skvalentine on March 30, 2023

Really good, very chocolate-y, and very fast to make.
