      Banana flavor was subtle (because they were frozen and I drained off the liquid?) and the chocolate was strong. I didn't taste the spices much. But the texture was excellent, and I loved the spelt wheat flavor. Worth tinkering. I think this could easily become a go-to.

  • Mushroom & apple polenta with creamy Parmesan sauce

      This was delicous, but the parmesan cream didn't really work - it ended up being very liquid with clumps of cheese. And the dish was very salty - that part is my fault I used a little too much better than bouillion.

  • Overnight oat bake with cherries and almonds

      Oats were still crunchier than we would prefer after 12 hours in fridge, so consider increasing fridge time before baking.
