Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Parmesan and pancetta pasta with kale

    • soozank on February 05, 2024

Made it with just 1/2 pound of pasta. Perfect.

  • Pan-roasted pork tenderloin and fennel with coriander and orange

    • tmitra on February 07, 2024

For us, this served four, and despite the bold flavors on the ingredient list, I found it surprisingly boring. I was glad I made Ina's parsnip puree and apple chutney to accompany it, but even so, I won't repeat it.

    • SACarlson on February 25, 2024

We didn't find this at all boring--I liked the texture that the spice rub gave to the pork . The flavour combination seemed odd at first when I was cooking, but the finished dish was excellent.

  • Quick flatbreads with yogurt and whole wheat

    • Running_with_Wools on March 10, 2025

These don’t look as pretty as the picture in the magazine, but they were very good and easy. Kids loved them. I’ll make these again.

  • Sicilian semolina and sesame bread (Pane Siciliano)

    • kshell on June 11, 2024

Had so much fun making this bread with my toddler. It is not sticky. Almost as easy to shape as play-doh. It was not a mind-blowing loaf of bread, but still a solid, good loaf. I prefer high hydration type dough, but I would do this again with my kids. Was lazy and did not grind sesame seeds; could still taste them.
