Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Lemon-basil chicken & couscous

    • christina_an88v2 on June 04, 2026

I had a box of Near East couscous—5 1/2 Oz. That’s what I used and it came out perfect

  • Family fajita night

    • alyin2000 on October 21, 2025

Thoroughly enjoyed this recipe! Easy and flavorful.

  • Snappy kielbasa with sauerkraut & potatoes

    • alyin2000 on February 19, 2026

Made this with smoked sausage links instead of a kielbasa rope, and I feel like the sausage casing roasted too much, making it hard to chew. Next time I will make sure to get the rope or honestly make it in the slow cooker as she said she originally did. Wish we had that version.

  • Sheet-pan dumpling stir-fry

    • alyin2000 on February 19, 2026

This recipe is so easy and fast for a weeknight and the results are really delicious. Kid-friendly. Made it 3x in rapid succession.

  • Cook's secret weeknight beef stew

    • jasmine_120jgj on January 31, 2026

Great way to use up ingredients you already may have! Very easy to follow.

  • Chicken & rice casserole for the soul

    • john_8hhsld on May 31, 2026

Instructions not clear. Will never cook as written in the cookbook. Needs a higher temp. The 2 ounce packet of onion soup mix made it rather salty.

  • My super cheesy lasagna

    • qchu204 on February 25, 2026

Fairly fast and easy for a lasagna. Results were cheesy and hearty. A family favorite.

    • jasmine_120jgj on March 21, 2026

Overall great, would probably make more of the ricotta mixture- I felt like I was rationing the entire time. However, maybe I just like a very cheesy lasagna ;)

  • Mama's stuffed peppers

    • Melissa_427 on February 04, 2026

Had an abundance of green peppers. Threw these in the freezer for a couple of weeks before throwing them in the oven for a bit longer than recommended in the recipe. I'm not a big fan of stuffed peppers, but these were tasty and a nice option from the freezer, will definitely utilize the recipe again!
