I confess I was not much of a fan of Claudia's during her season on Master Chef, so I originally didn't plan on buying her cookbook. However when I looked through it in the bookstore I was intrigued and decided to give it a try. There's far more than the standard Mexican dishes I expected, and her instructions are very well written to ensure dishes come out right. So far everything I've tried has come out very well and actually found her personal notes enjoyable and educational.
