Notes about Recipes in this book

  • 'Shroom & bean "grits"

    • gillian_hugbfd on April 28, 2026

Very tasty when first made. Like all the recipes in this book it seems, makes a very large quantity. My leftovers were as hard as a rock the next day so best eaten fresh.

  • Lemon-ginger granola

    • Lalamzo on March 17, 2026

I’ve made this a few times but without the lemon extract and subbing maple syrup for honey. It was missing salt so now I add 1/4 tsp sea salt and that helps a lot.

  • Muesli

    • Lalamzo on March 17, 2026

I made the overnight oats version with chia seeds and really liked it.

  • Deluxe Blue Zones minestrone

    • gillian_hugbfd on April 08, 2026

Delicious. Makes a massive amount. Made in an Instant Pot, on slow cooker function, just adding the pasta in the last half hour and the pesto at the end.

  • Spanakopita pasta
