Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Bolillos

    • MaiaP on April 28, 2026

I had to bake them about 18 min. Time range in the recipe is 8-16 minutes. No way these would be done in 8 minutes. Making them again I would probably increase temp from 375 to 400 degrees.

  • Tacos gobernador

    • Crazy4cookbooks on April 11, 2026

A delicious, streamlined version of this recipe , without difficult to acquire ingredients, but matching all the flavor of some more complex versions. The lime is essential!

  • Smoky refried beans

    • MaiaP on April 28, 2026

Start with adding 1/2 cup of bean liquid when blending. They come out very runny with 1 cup.

This was surprisingly flavorless for what was in it. I'll stick to tomato in mine.
