Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Rainbow fritters

    • knittingfrog on May 27, 2021

I had so much hope... But did not hold at all. In the end had to add about 4 more tbsp of flour and an egg so it would bind... Flavour is ok though ??

  • Tomato and olive scuffins

    • Frenchfoodie on June 07, 2020

Delicious. I’ve added in leftover pasta sauce in place of the tomatoes which worked really well, giving extra taste and avoiding waste.

  • French onion soup

    • Vegansarah on September 28, 2021

Not the easiest to eat but oh so flavoursome with so so few ingredients

  • Chickpea, leek and fennel soup

    • Frenchfoodie on June 20, 2020

Seriously good, simple but comforting and quick to make. Loved the idea of fennel seeds rather than the bulb as I am much more likely to have seeds on hand.

    • Pamsy on November 04, 2023

Uses fennel seeds as opposed to a bulb.

  • Coronation chickpea sandwich

    • theaco on June 17, 2020

      Very easy and tasty recipe.

  • Seasoned chick'n poppers

    • Frenchfoodie on January 21, 2021

Needed a lot more flour than specified in the recipe (there is a warning this may be the case as not all silken tofus are created equal) but made really delicious, crunchy balls that were great in a wrap with salad, mayo and chilli sauce. When microwaved the next day they were chewy but still delicious.

  • Miso caramel sauce

    • Vegansarah on November 20, 2021

      This was absolutely amazing!
