Most recipes aren't even close. I wouldn't buy this again, and may toss it into the next garage sale

Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Applebee's baby back ribs

    • ellencooks on August 07, 2015

This barbecue sauce is excellent! But I don't cook my ribs this way. I cook my ribs over indirect heat at about 300 or lower for a few hours. Then the last ten minutes I put them over the heat and brush on some sauce. Serve the rest of the sauce at the table.

  • Applebee's fiesta lime chicken

    • Rinshin on February 13, 2021

Never had this before so not sure how close this recipe is, but my husband sure enjoyed this one. Sliced one chicken breast horizontally for the two of us for thinner pieces. Used fresh ginger and parsley instead of ground/dried, combo Cheddar and Jack for Colby cheese, and skipped on blackening seasoning and dill. Once prep work was done, the actual cooking took less than 10 min. Browned in skillet first, followed by brief broil with sauce and cheese topping. Served with Mexican style rice, haricot vert, and pico de gallo. I like to try using fish next time skipping the initial skillet browning. Photo added.

  • Olive Garden chicken crostina

The chicken was really good. The pasta was bland.
