Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Saucy onion chicken

    • ethedens on January 08, 2025

Very easy to throw together, especially if you did as I did and use leftover chicken. Too salty but fine with the rice. An elevated version of this with fried shallots exists somewhere. 3.5/5

  • Pastry for 5-inch pies

    • pitterpat4 on December 25, 2020

Used butter instead of shortening. Used small food processor to mix dough. Turned out great. Was enough for two 6-inch pie plates.

  • Crumb-top apple pies

    • pitterpat4 on December 25, 2020

Delicious! . I had 6-inch pie pans. I used 1/3 cup of sugar, 3 cups of apples and a lot of cinnamon (sprinkled liberally over apples, did not measure), doubled ingredients for topping. One half of a 6-inch pie was a generous serving.

  • Curried chicken-wiches

    • ethedens on January 07, 2025

These were pretty good! Not totally sold on hot mayo but would eat this again. There's certainly potential here. 3.25/5

  • Pineapple lemon fizz

    • ethedens on January 22, 2025

Good. Exactly what I expected. 3.5/5
