This book is a very good resource for really any dinner party or brunch. Many of the recipes are for things like a salmon and cream cheese loaf (smear) p. 70 and the like. Lots of great ideas.

Tiny Cheese Biscuits, p. 31 These are outstanding. Would be great for serving with soup or a salad.
