Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Apricot conserve

Quite good, but still not the best of my apricot jam/conserve recipes to date.

  • Tomato relish

    • e_ballad on March 11, 2017

This is exactly the same recipe as the 'Joyce's tomato relish' recipe from the website www.trotski-ash.com (EYB online recipes), except it uses double the quantity of sugar. I went for 1.5 cups of sugar & we're pretty happy with it. The cooking time was well off the mark - by over an hour! Hubby has called it his favourite tomato relish recipe to date though.
