This is one of my favorite back pocket chicken recipes. Goes together really quickly with ingredients usually on hand and is great for a fast weeknight meal and for company. The thighs stay nicely moist, the skin is crispy, and they are good left over, heated in a bit of chicken stock.Ingredients are very basic but pack in some lovely flavors.
This is a good, easy asparagus preparation. My favorite grilled asparagus is still the standard version with lemon juice, but horseradish can be a nice change of pace.
This is a good, easy dish to make with spring asparagus. I used only a cup of stock, and didn't have as much cream as called for, but added one package of garlic & herb Boursin cheese to make up for this. I also added crumbled bits of turkey bacon. All in all, it's a tasty dish you can adapt to your liking.
This is my go-to recipe for a pavlova base, though I usually add one or two additional egg whites without altering the amount of sugar, water or vinegar and still using a 7" circle as a guide. I've made this at least a dozen times and it has always come out perfectly with a marshmallowy center and crisp outer layer.
Don't touch a thing!
