Skillet-charred fish tacos from Cravings - Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat (page 209) by Chrissy Teigen and Adeena Sussman

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Solid fish taco recipe - nothing crazy or too unusual about it; we all liked them. We did not make the spicy green sauce and did not feel we were missing anything. Sriracha mayo was a tad too spicy for us.

I have been making these for years, I add some additional spices to my rub but overall it’s a delicious meal!

I thought this was good, but nothing life-changing. I actually did not enjoy the sauce with it.

Love this recipe a lot! I’ve been making it for years. The green sauce really makes it and is one of the best sauces I’ve ever had. I don’t do the toppings she calls for and instead make a slaw of red cabbage, red onion, cilantro, apple cider vinegar, etc to put on top.

I made guacamole instead of just using avocado, cilantro, and spring onions. I added olive oil and lemon to the cabbage

We both loved these tacos. The Sriracha mayo sauce is essential in my opinion. I used rock fish fillets and an ancho chile powder. I didn't make the green hot sauce as we're pretty averse to fish sauce, and used green Cholula in its place. I would make these again.

This was VERY good. I think the spicy mayo was what really made this fantastic. We did not have any Sriracha, but ironically had one of the internet's suggested substitutes, sambal oelek. Turned out great, we loved this.

These are great! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE a battered, fried fish taco, but that isn't always feasible or a good idea (speaking on behalf of my waistline). This is a fantastic, flavorful charred fish taco. Flaky fish with a good char but not overcooked and tons of flavor. I didn't use that green sauce she calls for but a good-quality store-bought green salsa (Rick Bayless') and it was so delicious (and less work on a weeknight!). Highly recommend either way.
