Honey-roasted peanut butter cookies from BraveTart: Iconic American Desserts (page 50) by Stella Parks

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Made these for a co-worker’s birthday and everyone raved. I made half with the dried cherries and half without and the cookies with the cherries disappeared first. I preferred the cookies with the cherries, myself, she is very specific about adding the ingredients in a certain order which I mostly screwed up but it didn’t seem to make a difference. The dough still came out very fluffy.

Did a full batch of cookies but 50% "regular" and 50% white chocolate coconut. The coconut version was much better for my taste. The full batch makes a lot of cookies, but halving two flavorings worked well.

These really are the best peanut butter cookies ever

Basically the perfect peanut butter cookies. I like them drizzled with just a bit of melted chocolate.

My husband's all time favorite PB cookie. They are quite delicious. Just for fun, I did almond butter version and cashew butter version. Although more difficult to find the honey roasted versions of those nuts, I did. Almond butter a nice variation, but cashew butter - meh. Cashew butter doesn't have a very distinctive taste, so doesn't work well here.

Oh yes....these are good! I actually weighed 1 oz balls to keep them uniform and in my oven 14.5 - 15 minutes was good. I also wondered about flattening with a fork but the photo in the book didn't look like it was done and they ultimately do flatten out beautifully with crispy edges and a softer/chewier centre. An absolute repeat!

Peanut forward for sure, we loved them. I do wish my food processor was more professional so ground peanuts were fine, mine had sandy texture. Also no instruction on if we are to use a fork to cross hatch/shape of cookie on tray etc.

Delicious. Love the strong peanut flavor and soft texture.

These are so good! They're soft, with crisp edges, and so much peanut butter flavor.

These were truly the best peanut butter cookies I've ever eaten. I followed the directions exactly, but found they were done after 14 minutes of baking. Soft, chewy, super peanutty, delicious!
