Can substitute Cointreau for Grand Marnier, Angostura bitters for orange bitters, and Maraschino cherries for the book's "Candied amarena cherries" specified here.

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

I can't drink regular manhattans, but really enjoyed this one. It's on the sweet side, but I didn't mind. I used a VS cognac, Boissiere vermouth, Grand Marnier, and orange bitters.
