Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

    Having had a version of Sikil p'ak at a local restaurant, I've been looking for a good one. I used this as the basis, leaving out the cilantro and chives to get closer to the restaurant version. I plan to add the cilantro and chives next time. Hubby has a limit with heat, so I made a chili oil with the habanero and drizzled it around the base to let him choose. If you've never had this, try it! It will easily become a household staple.
