    I did not have any small hot peppers on hand, so it was meh. I stirred in some Calabrian pepper paste (to taste) and it went from blah to WOW, really fast. Don’t skip the peppers. I will definitely make this again.

    I should have cooked the sauce longer since it was pretty thin, but it still had great flavor. We enjoyed this served with rice and the cucumber salad from this book.
