    Makes a tender, moist bar cookie, slightly chewy texture first day and more cakey by day2. Used apple brandy, and didn’t peel apples since I’m lazy and don’t find the peel noticeable once cooked. Also subbed half and half in the glaze, since that’s what I had on hand. Worth a repeat.
