Almond flounder meunière from Around My French Table: More Than 300 Recipes from My Home to Yours (page 290) by Dorie Greenspan

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Accompaniments: Lemon-steamed spinach

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Good rather than great. As mfto noted, this was a rather bland dish even fried in butter. I first ground up slivered almonds but I didn’t like the overly fine outcome, so I then tried processing whole almonds. Much better outcome! Spritzing lots of freshly squeezed lemon juice over the cooked dish helped a lot. This is a good protein choice if you’re not in the mood for a spicy meal. Oven roasted zucchini with labneh went well as an accompaniment.

Almond crusted fish fried in butter....of course it's really good. Don't skimp on the butter, salt, and pepper.

This is a rather bland but acceptable fish dish. If you like me require a little more zip, serve with a flavorful or spicy side dish.
