Baked German pancake (or Dutch babies) from The Breakfast Book (page 125) by Marion Cunningham

Where’s the full recipe - why can I only see the ingredients?

Always check the publication for a full list of ingredients. An Eat Your Books index lists the main ingredients and does not include 'store-cupboard ingredients' (salt, pepper, oil, flour, etc.) - unless called for in significant quantity.

Added cherries on top. Dumped flour in instead of sifting, and it was fine. (Toddler helper = directions are suggestions. ??) Yum!

Good recipe with toddler helpers (for mixing and sifting). Served with a little lemon juice, blueberries, and maple syrup. Made in a 10-inch preheated skillet. Turned oven down to 350 for the last 5 min of the first 15 min as it was getting dark. Did not need the other 10 min. Turned out great!

Delicious! I served it with blueberry compote. I used my only cast iron skillet, which is 10 inches wide. It was done after the initial 15 minutes and did not need the additional 10 minutes at a lower temperature the recipe recommends.

Made for Pancake Tuesday- this came together quickly and was very good. I used hickory syrup instead of the suggested powdered sugar and lemon, but I would definitely try the latter the next time.

Heavenly! Comes together quickly and serves 3-4. Fine to use a 425-degree oven rather than 450 (I didn't want my pan handle to melt)
