    Delicious soft-textured snickerdoodle. I included 2 tsp of cardamom in the dough, and for the outer sugar mixture used 2 Tbs. sugar, 1 tsp. cardamom, and 1 tsp Vietnamese cinnamon. The cardamom flavor in the finished cookie was present but subtle. Left out the vanilla because that seems anti-snickerdoodle. They're a little darker going into the oven than traditional snickerdoodles because of the brown sugar, so don't judge by color when deciding when to pull them out.
