    This recipe is a lot of work but it easily in my family’s top 10 favorite dinners. I make my own tomato sauce rather than this ragu, but it’s the besciamella and the layering that makes this recipe a standout. If you don’t make your own ricotta, be sure to use a high quality store bought option.
