  • Lentil soup with cauliflower and cheese

    • Rinshin on November 04, 2020

Nourishing using cauliflower and lentils without all the cream and cheese found in better tasting cauliflower soups. Used vegetable stock in place of chicken along with tsp of miso since miso and cheese goes well and wanted to make it vegetarian. This recipe only called for 3 oz cheese for 4 servings. The taste seemed a little muddled to me and maybe I am not a fan of lentil based soups. Should have added a little splash of vinegar at the end.

  • Brûléed pumpkin pie

    • Bitten Word

The finished product was kind of nifty looking, but not really worth the effort. Save yourself an hour and do a simple crimped edge. The filling of the Martha pie is super simple...It smells heavenly.

Don't get us wrong: There is absolutely nothing wrong with this stuffing. This stuffing is fine. It really is. We just don't think it's special enough for your Thanksgiving table.
