Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Flourless chocolate cake

    • laurabead on November 16, 2018

Our favorite cake for passover (or any other time of year). It's rich and dense. Delicious with a raspberry coulis and/or barely sweetened whipped cream.

  • Creamed spinach with jalapeño peppers

  • Braised fennel, celery, onion and red pepper

    • wester on November 02, 2012

This was actually very simple and very tasty. The reason it didn't get more stars is that the timing was way off - it needed about twice as long as stated, and the onions wouldn't have minded staying in the oven for even longer. I added some fennel seeds as well, which was nice.

  • Cornbread and prosciutto stuffing

    • mjes on September 27, 2021

A very decent dressing recipe that is just slightly different from the expectations - add a little variety to Thanksgiving without crashing hopes.

  • Rösti

    • Jardimc on June 27, 2024

Not really a recipe that one can actually use.

  • Black cake
