Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Calabrian grilled pork ribs

    • twoyolks on February 02, 2016

The ribs had good flavor and were quite tender. They weren't my favorite version of this style of ribs. There was a lot of cooking liquid, so I reduced it before pouring it over the cut ribs.

  • Your new favorite pork chops

    • Globegal on April 27, 2016

Easy and good flavor. This is now my go-to pork chop recipe.

    • EdM on March 02, 2020

4 or 5 stars for easy, 3 or 4 stars for taste. Sage butter sauce with sliced pork is key. As usual with pork chops, quality of meat and not over- or under-cooking is critical.

  • Spicy lamb and lentils with herbs

    • clcorbi on May 01, 2018

We loved this! So fast for a weeknight, and absolutely delicious stuffed into a pita. I'd add some garlic and lemon juice to the yogurt next time to make the yogurt more of a sauce--otherwise, perfect.

  • Raspberry-ricotta cake

    • lawrencecharcuterie on November 07, 2021

These outside baked long before the center so the entire cake turned out to dry. I used our homemade ricotta which is usually dry. Perhaps I should have added some milk too moisten the batter more?
