A delicious french toast recipe without any fuss. Makes enough batter for 1 loaf +3 slices homemade bread - which is sturdy enough even when fresh. I dipped some tortillas into the batter and they were yummy too! Just remember - this is a rather pricy breakfast because of the 1 full cup of maple syrup needed to make the french toast. Cook the leftover batter as a crepe to avoid food waste.
