Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Farro-and-sausage Parmigiano

    • SACarlson on September 03, 2017

This is really tasty. I was pressed for time, so didn't do the panko crumbs, but did pop it under the broiler to brown the cheese (I did both mozzarella and parmesan). I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but was very pleasantly surprised!

  • Fried tandoori chicken

    • twoyolks on January 10, 2017

The chicken picked up some nice flavor from the marinade but the crust on the chicken was too hard and wasn't particularly pleasant for fried chicken.

  • Cheesy nachos with fried eggs and giardiniera

    • radishseed on November 15, 2022

I was dubious about the fried egg, but I gave it a go. It turns this dish into a puzzle in which you have to either eat your nachos with a fork (difficult) or eat a fried egg with your fingers (messy). So the nachos are good, but I'll skip the egg next time.

  • Mustard greens saag paneer

    • mooo42 on February 26, 2021

The mustard green flavor was really intense, to the point of overwhelming. We didn't finish the leftovers :(
