pg 92 Quirky Carrot salad Knocked this up for a hot summers day to serve as a side to a few other things I had made. It was definitely a "show stealer" as Lola Berry states in her book. Its quick and easy- well I say that ,the carrots took a little time to grate by hand ( I wasn't wanting to get out the food processor to be honest) and trying to get the pesky seeds out of the pomegranate was the most time consuming- but all in good fun. It is not really a long job at all. Will be one to repeat and take to friends for a Barbecue. Sweetness, tart, crunch and flavours that go well together- its got it all going!

pg48 Brekkie Knock Up:Fried Brussel Sprouts, Kale and Egg. Made this for my husband and I and despite the very few and easy to make recipe it was absolutely wonderful. A pleasant surprise. Will make again for sure.

pg 123 Sweet Potato and Quinoa Patties with Green Tahini and Lime Dressing The quinoa yields twice as much when cooked and I decided to just add half of it to the potato. They turned out delicious...not to say they wouldn't have been nice with the full amount but it just seemed rather too much to add to the rest of the ingredients. It still made a lot of patties. The dressing I thought was quite nice- my other family members thought otherwise! I will make these again, may try with the full quota of cooked quinoa and make another note as to how they turn out. Shout out anyone who has made these.
