  • Chicken breast with celeriac and pear purée and hazelnut pesto

      Delicious though time consuming (the stated prep time is well off!). It helps to prepare the pesto and cook the mash and cabbage earlier and reheat at the end. I found we needed only half the amount of hazelnut pesto for 4 but needed almost double the quantity of the celeriac mash. This method of cooking the cabbage is wonderful and something I will regularly do now.

  • Pork belly braised in coconut milk and fish sauce with ginger, chillies and cavolo nero

      Extremely tasty for what feels like minimal ingredients and methods. I used ready packed pork belly slices and would recommend adding the following: 3 tbsp of minced garlic & ginger (I buy the ready minced & mixed jar of this by KTC from sainsburys), 2 tbsp brown sugar - but I reduced the amount of chilli flakes to 1 tsp. I also doubled the cooking time as I like my pork very tender and the stated time did not seem enough to me.

  • Mattar paneer

      A surprisingly nice curry, pretty easy to make and not much faffing about; but in no way is this enough for four people! We'll make this again, but the one thing we'd change is to cut the paneer smaller than 2cm cubes - they seemed way too chunky.

  • Greek lamb stew with orzo (Youvetsi)

      Easy and delicious - whole family enjoyed this. Used frozen spinach, added grated carrots as felt needed more veg (and other youvetsi recipes online include carrots). Only problem is the quantity would not be not enough for four hungry adults!
