Notes about Recipes in this book

  • Gazpacho

    • mharriman on July 06, 2022

Delicious. We loved the flavors in this cold tomato soup. I used sourdough for my bread and think the bread is what made this better tasting than other gazpachos I’ve made or had in restaurants.

  • Fish fillets with spinach (Filets de poisson Florentine)

    • kateiscoooking on January 14, 2023

Used Better than Bouillon instead of a bouillon cube. Also Gruyere cheese. Very good!

  • Crunchy almond chicken

    • mharriman on October 08, 2022

More than anything, the finely ground almond topping produced chicken that tasted like oven-fried chicken. The almond mixture and spices produced a Very mild flavor but my chicken pieces were nicely browned on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. This is an easy dish that you pop in the oven and eat after it's finished baking.

  • Spaghetti with tomato-and-anchovy sauce

    • mharriman on January 17, 2023

My husband and I really liked this sauce over whole wheat spaghetti noodles. I tweaked it by doubling the sauce amount, using a jar of marinara instead of tomato sauce, and adding a cup of cooked, crumbled Italian turkey sausage. The anchovies add a lovely flavor. Delicious! Will repeat with the modifications I made to the recipe.
